Unit 2: Lexical, Syntactic & Case Marking Particles
In this unit, you will continue to learn about patterns in Classical Tibetan, with an introduction to several common lexical, syntactic, and case marking particles. It follows the presentation of these topics found in Chapter 10 of Translating Buddhism from Tibetan. Study that chapter carefully. Then, watch the lecture presentation below, memorize the chapter's vocabulary using Quizlet, practice the unit's exercises below, and use the reading sample below to work on your pronounciation.

When you have completed each part, if you are enrolled in a course with an instructor, go to the My Progress page and let the instructor know you have completed your work; you can also provide feedback to the instructor on how your work is going. If you have a Nettle account, when you leave this site and come back, your progress will have been logged so you can continue where you left off.
