Printing woodblock texts in Gonlung Monastery, Amdo (Qinghai Province)

In this unit, you will learn more about action verbs and agentive-nominative verbs, about the originative case, and about interrogative pronouns.

This unit follows the presentation of these topics found in Chapter 17 of Translating Buddhism from Tibetan. Study that chapter carefully. Then, watch the lecture presentation below, memorize the chapter's vocabulary using Quizlet, practice the unit's exercises below, and use the reading sample below to work on your pronounciation.

When you have completed each part, go to the My Progress page and let the instructor know you have completed your work; you can also provide feedback to the instructor on how your work is going.
